John was born in Akron, OH. Having moved quite a bit while growing up, he settled in New England while attending Lowell Tech (now UMASS Lowell), graduating with degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering. John has been married to his wife, Barbara, for over 45 years, having been introduced to each other on a blind date while in college. Currently living in Windham, their family is blessed with three adult children and one grandchild, who now reside in the Boston area and Atlanta. Since joining the staff at Crossway, John is honored to be leading one of his passions – the church’s small group ministry. John has served in a variety of small group leadership roles both at Crossway and previous congregations. His vision is to develop group life that emphasizes caring, growth/discipleship, and service to others. John’s other passion outside of church is enjoying his lifelong hobby of ham radio, where he has developed friendships around the world. Now retired, he also loves cooking, travel, and spending time with Barbara and friends.
