Jake was born in the midwest, but moved out to God's country here in New England in 2009. He married his talented and driven wife, Kristin, in 2006. Jake and Kristin became parents when they felt God call them to adopt a young man from Haiti named Kemly who was three at the time. They also have two little girls, Harper and Macy. Jake has filled a lot of different roles in ministry including youth ministry, children's ministry, adult discipleship, and small groups. In addition, he and his wife planted a church and he was a teaching pastor before coming on staff at Crossway. Jake loves all things sports and will play pick-up just about any sport.
