Valerie is a second generation Dominican-American who spent her early years in Lynn, Ma up until she was eight years old. She and her family moved to Londonderry, NH where she grew up. Val has had a heart for working with and serving individuals with disabilities for many years as she has actively worked and volunteered with children with disabilities all throughout grade school and college. She received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy in September 2020 and has been working primarily with children in the school setting as a licensed Occupational Therapist for the last three and a half years. Val’s heart is to partner with children and their families to help promote meaningful, active, and functional engagement in their church community, and ultimately, their spiritual walk with the Lord.
Val and her husband Tom started attending Crossway in 2018, however after many life changes including moves and a pandemic,
they officially called Crossway home in 2022. She loves to spend time with her husband and their 18-month-old son, Ezra. When not chasing her toddler around, Val is very likely shopping, ordering Starbucks, eating way too many snacks, or writing one of her many unfinished novels.
