SMALL GROUPS

Wherever You Are, in Life or Location, There's a Small Group That's Just Right For You!

Small Groups are a more intimate place to belong and grow within the wider church community.

Practicing the Way of Jesus - Summer ’19 Small Groups

If you took a casual survey of how people practice their faith, you might reasonably conclude that Jesus spent his life going door to door offering private lessons, complete with chalkboard and pop quizzes. We think about God in the comfort of our own minds, in isolation from one another; meanwhile the world waits for a people to practice the way of Jesus together.

Mark Scandrette believes that Jesus has something more lively in mind for us: not a classroom so much as a kingdom, where our formation takes place not only in our heads but in our hearts and our bodies, and in the company of one another, in a way that blesses the world we've been entrusted with.

In Practicing the Way of Jesus Scandrette draws from his experience as a spiritual director and leader of an intentional community, as well as the best contemporary thinking on kingdom spirituality, to paint a picture of life lived together, in the way of Jesus--which is another way of saying life lived to the full.

Join a group for a 6 session study to learn how we can put into practice the teachings of Jesus to better understand our identity and purpose, find community and security, and live with peace and freedom. Adult Small Groups

It is impossible to be a Christ follower and a lone ranger.  We were all created to experience meaningful relationships and to practice following Christ in community, alongside of one another.  Sunday mornings are a fantastic part of our church experience, but they’re not a whole picture of the church. Please consider joining a small group; a place where we can ask questions, share stories, and invest in growing relationships with Jesus Christ and others.

    Student Small Groups

CSM Small Groups are where students can connect with each other and their leaders in a deeper way and have safe environment to explore faith and their relationship with Jesus. It's a space to ask hard questions, find mentorship, and experience Christian community.
