PRESCHOOL

Your preschooler has many questions. Some might be about creation, heaven, church, and the Bible...and some of their questions might already be hard to answer. Don't Panic. Just like other topics, answer faith questions as simply as possible. If they need to ask more, they will.

FAITH PATHS

Faith Paths are a series of intentional events, classes, and small group studies that are aimed at helping parents disciple their children at specific developmental stages, and serves to partner with parents in achieving Crossway's vision of seeing the living hope of Jesus surging through the next generation. These three Faith Paths below are perfect for families with middle schoolers. Also see our Faith Paths page for more information regarding all the Faith Paths offered at Crossway.

  • Creating a Rhythm

Join us to discover simple, but powerful ways you can leverage your family's unique rhythm to build a strong spiritual foundation for your children. This next step will prepare you to disciple them to become young people who passionately love and follow Jesus above all else, because what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. This event is designed for parents of children ages 0-4. Childcare is provided, but registration is required. For more information about this event, please contact Melissa Kosman

Check back for the next Creating A Rhythm date.

  • Positive Discipline

A humorous look at parenting, a serious look at discipline for parents of children ages 2-7.

Anyone who plays a significant role in a child’s life is encouraged to attend this valuable Faith Path event at Crossway. 1-2-3 Magic is a national curriculum created by Thomas W. Phelan, Ph.D. In this 3-hour event, Dr. Phelan breaks down the task of parenting into three straightforward jobs:

Controlling Obnoxious Behavior: Learn an amazingly simple technique to get the kids to STOP doing what you don’t want them to do (whining, arguing, tantrums, sibling rivalry, etc).

Encouraging Good Behavior: Learn several effective methods to get your kids to START doing what you want them to do (picking up, eating, going to bed and staying there, chores, etc.)

Strengthening Your Relationships: Learn powerful techniques that will help reinforce the bond between you and your children.

For more information or questions about this event, please contact Andrea Andris

Connect with us on Sundays

We've created a loving environment that centers on giving preschoolers a first impression of their heavenly Father. Our small group leaders help children discover the wonder of God through consistent & caring small groups, creative Bible teaching, developmentally-appropriate activities, and interactive worship. Our goal is that, by the time they head off for elementary school, each preschooler will believe three basic truths as the foundation of their faith: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
