Easter is a celebration of the risen Son.  God raised Jesus from the dead and exalted Him to the highest place.
Night is over and day has come. Death has lost and life has won.

Lent is the time of year that is ripe with opportunity and invitation to focus on the more inward facets of our spiritual formation.  A text of Scripture that captures this invitation so compellingly is Psalm 139:23-24 which says, “Search me O God and know my heart.  Test me and know my anxious thoughts.  See if there’s any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

A footnote in the Bible says that the word wicked could also be translated hurtful.  See if there’s any hurtful way in me—hurtful toward others, or even a way in me that’s hurtful to myself.

After two years of the pandemic, almost all of us are hurting in some way, and so many churches are reeling.  To address these deeply felt needs Christians and churches have, we’re launching a podcast that’s inviting us to experience deeper healing and freedom over the 40 days of Lent. We invite you to identify one area of your life where you feel stuck, broken, blocked.

May this be a time when we as the church aspire to not merely get people into heaven, but heaven into people.  Because as we experience spiritual transformation, more and more people want be drawn to this kind of life with God in the kingdom of the heavens.

APRIL 15   |   POND CAMPUS  | 7:00PM

The jump from spring to Easter can be easy. One happy moment leading to another as we celebrate the reappearance of plants, the renewal of warmer temperatures and the resurrection of Christ. Yet skipping the sorrowful moments of Lent and Good Friday may leave us with a light version of Easter. We have not recalled the darker days, not lived in the shadows of sin enough, to truly experience the joy of Easter.

Together, at our Good Friday service, we will participate in the story of Jesus’ death through reading Scripture, singing songs, and sharing in communion. Together we will prepare our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths for the silence of Holy Saturday and the victory of Easter Sunday.

When: Saturday, April 16

Time: 2:00pm – 3:45pm

Where: Pond Campus | 503 Main Dunstable Rd, Nashua

Invite your friends and neighbors and join us at the Pond campus for some FREE outdoor family fun! We’ll have games, food, and at 3:00pm age-based Easter egg hunts for all to enjoy!

At 3:40pm we will invite you to join us in the auditorium for a special Easter Story video for the kids and invite you to stay for the 4:00pm family friendly Easter service.
*Please note Kidsway will not be open for this service.

For planning purposes and to ensure we have enough eggs and food, registration is appreciated but not required.
