About CrossWay Global Outreach:

CrossWay's Mission to "bring living hope to broken people through a growing relationship with Jesus" extends well beyond the church's walls. We are committed to reaching out and serving people suffering from material, emotional, intellectual and spiritual poverty in our community and across the world. This service is a response to the example of Jesus who is our role model for ministry.

Spiritual

We believe in service as a response to the example of Jesus Christ who sends the church out into the world to serve and heal. Our agenda is about bringing the love, hope and joy of Christ to a world that desperately needs Him. We're not out to convert people, we want to embrace them. For us Christianity is an example, not an expectation or an outcome. As a church, we are unapologetic about our belief in Jesus and we want everyone to experience the peace, joy and love we've found in Christ, so following Jesus' example, we will never ignore the physical, mental, or emotional needs we see. In these cases we believe our love and service say more about Christianity than we can put into words. We strive to make our ministry trips a tangible example of our faith.

Relational

We live in a world that watches the poor waste away from sickness, starvation, and neglect because it views them as less: less productive, less important, less human. We disagree. At CrossWay we're all about people: seeing them, loving them, serving them. We recognize that poverty is more than a simple lack of "stuff" and we stress the importance of ministering to the whole person not forgetting the mental and emotional hurts of not being able to make ends meet. CrossWay ministry trips have built homes, schools and churches; performed medical clinics, hosted vacation bible school programs and special education evaluations; we've even worked with small businesses and home gardens. But we've also hugged children, visited homes in the slums, comforted the sick, encouraged the oppressed, and taught the uneducated because Jesus loves them and so do we.
