Adult Small Groups

It is impossible to be a Christ follower and a lone ranger.  We were all created to experience meaningful relationships and to practice following Christ in community alongside of one another.  Sunday mornings are a fantastic part of our church experience, but they’re not a whole picture of the church. Please consider joining a small group; a place where we can ask questions, share stories, and invest in growing relationships with Jesus Christ and others.

Born in Chapel Hill NC and raised in Oak Ridge TN, Dave attended the University of Michigan on an ROTC scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. While stationed with the U.S. Army at Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, Dave came to faith in Christ & was baptized at East 91st Street Christian Church. Feeling God’s call to full time ministry, he began seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois the same month he finished his 4-year army obligation. In the years since receiving his Master of Divinity, Dave has served with several churches & ministries in outreach, missions, church planting, church leadership & church development. Most notably, he is the church planter of Crossway and served as our senior minister for 5 years. Dave & his wife, Nancy, never lost their passion for the northeast and feel blessed beyond measure to return to serve with their church family at Crossway. They love spending time with their children – Katie & her husband Justin, Joshua & his wife Katie, and Amy. Dave also loves to spend time with God and others outdoors. He particularly loves the mountains.
