MoHI officially began in 2000, with 50 children attending school in a tiny rented "house" in the village known as Area 1. Today MoHI provides quality Christian education, medical care, meals, love and encouragement to over 12,000 children in 16 centers. Learn more about Missions of Hope International

CMF Hope Partnership - Child Sponsorship
Hope Partnership works to bring physical, emotional, and spiritual light through education and training to break the cycle of poverty and hopelessness. The program provides education and basic care for the children who attend MOHI schools. CrossWay is one of many churches and individuals across the country providing new life and hope for nearly 12,000 children in Nairobi and Turkana, Kenya, through their monthly sponsorship donations. Sponsor a Child at MoHI, Area 2

Big Dent
Microfinance is a unique weapon in the fight against poverty. MoHI and CMF work to enable the poor in Nairobi, Kenya, to develop and maintain their own small businesses while receiving Christian training and support through our program, which seeks to make a "big dent” in poverty through small loans. Big Dent offers you the opportunity to choose a budding entrepreneur and directly sponsor a loan of any size for him or her. Entrepreneurs must make regular payments on the loan until it is repaid in full. As loans are repaid, those funds are re-directed to new entrepreneurs or proven entrepreneurs who are expanding their businesses. In other words, your contribution does not cease working after given the first time; it is "recycled” into new loans, making a 'big dent' in poverty. Learn more about Big Dent
